Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register?

You can register by clicking here. There are four easy steps :
1) Register (a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you)
2) Activate your account by clicking the link in the e-mail
3) Log in and enter your personal details like your name and cell phone number
4) Select a default voucher to use (if you want to automatically receive vouchers when making payments)
You are now ready to start buying vouchers with your unique reference number!

I haven't yet received my activation e-mail - what should I do?

Some e-mail programs classify the automatically generated activation e-mail as a spam message. If your activation e-mail takes long to reach you, please check your "spam" or "trash" folder - your e-mail program might have put it there. If you still can't find it, please contact us.

I've made a payment. Why haven't I received my vouchers?

  1. Please allow enough time to process your payment. Payments can take between 12 and 72 hours to be processed. Weekends and Public Holidays can cause a delay in processing payments from the banks.
  2. Did you use your correct payment reference number? If not, your payment will not be automatically picked up and you will have to contact us.
  3. Do you have a default voucher selected? If not, your payment will be reflected on your account, but vouchers will not be sent until you log in and request vouchers. You will have to log in  and select “buy vouchers” to get your vouchers. If you want vouchers to be sent automatically, the easiest way is to have a default voucher selected.
  4. Is your cell phone number correct? If your number is 0821234567, your number should be entered as 27821234567. If your cell phone number was incorrect, you can see your vouchers by logging in and selecting “my vouchers”. Vouchers are not only sent via sms, but also via e-mail, so you can also check your e-mail for your vouchers.

I've lost my voucher numbers. What now?

Under your Control Panel, you can select “My Vouchers” where you will see a list of all your vouchers and a status that shows whether you have already used it or not. If you've lost your numbers you can log on and will see all your active vouchers on this page.

Which voucher type should I select as my default voucher type?

This depends on the type of service you will be receiving from your ISP. You will have to ask your ISP what type of voucher you should use.

I want to become an ISP. I can't find a voucher type with the correct price for my business. Can you create a new voucher type for my business?

Yes, we can. In such a case you will send a request to the Guru Network admin team to create a new voucher type. After the cost of the voucher and the distribution amongst ISP's are agreed, this voucher type will be made available to your clients.

What is an ISP?

An ISP is an Independent Service Provider. They are the individuals and businesses that provide personal services to their clients. Guru Network does not provide personal services to clients – we provide a convenient payment mechanism and marketing gateway to ISP's.
